Orientation Meetings for CIL Europe Trip 2008

25/4 (Fri) 3:30pm Meeting One
Discussed Matters:

 

  1. As a study tour, the leaning experience of this trip needs to be assessed in OBTL format. (Video documentation and OBTL forms, etc)
  2. A BLOG for this trip is now online. Besides posting information for the trip, participants can exchange their ideas / thoughts / concerns /discoveries on this platform. During the trip, each participant will contribute to the blog by rotation. (see below). Please check last year’s blog for reference: http://cilgermany.wordpress.com/
  3. Four groups have been formed. Each group should RESEARCH on one city and PRESENT their results in Meeting Three & Four (for group member list and assigned tasks, see below)
  4. Head students have been elected to take important responsibilities such as communication with the tutors. (see below)
  5. Participants NEED to join ALL the coming three meetings, if you can’t make it, you MUST send Yue-Jin (yuejinho@cityu.edu.hk) an email in advance.

Agenda

  1. Sharing section by participants from last year and veteran travelers (Jolene + Yvonne)
    a. Logistic matters: How to pack a 20KG baggage , etc
    b. Survival skills in Europe: How to travel healthy, etc.  
  2. Gather important personal information from participants.
  3. Assign and distribute management tasks to each group and each member
  4. “skills” for the trip: documentation, sound recording and logistic matters
  5. Other technical things for the tour
